7-le-fleurburger-5000-300x1647.   Burger     $5,000

We’re all on a life-long hunt for the best burger. This burger takes the cake for the most expensive – consisting of wagyu beef, a foie gras patty on a brioche bun. The toppings include truffle sauce and shaved black truffles. Now this burger better be the best one you’ve ever tasted.

8.   Dessert     $14,500Fortress-Stilt-Fisherman-Indulgence-768x1024

You’ll find this desert tucked away in a luxury hotel. Gold leaf Italian cassata, fruit infused Irish cream, fruit compote, Dom perignon champagne sabayon, 80 carat aquamarine gemstone (the size of a soup spoon) and handmade chocolate carving of a fisherman. Prospects have inquired about it all the way from Japan – allegedly, no one has forked over the money to give it a taste.

9.   Chocolate Sundae     $25,000

Serendipity 3, New York

This isn’t your average ice cream sundae- it incorporates 28 different blends of cocoa decorated in edible gold. Served in a goblet lined with edible gold, 18 carat gold bracelet with 1 carat diamonds and a golden spoon decorated in chocolate diamonds- which all go home with the diner. Two days notice needs to be given in order to allow time for the ingredients to be flown in from around the world.
