“In space, no one can hear you scream…”

The immortal tagline for one of film’s most enduring horror and sci-fi franchises has become a part of the pop culture lexicon. Now, Clifford Wallace can proudly say that they have contributed to that legacy.

Clifford Wallace talent Andrew Crawford, who is a dedicated and versatile dancer as well as being an actor, will be making a monstrous transformation for Ridley Scott’s upcoming continuation of the Alien saga, Alien: Covenant, which is the direct sequel to 2012’s Prometheus.

In 1979, Alien changed the landscape of horror and sci-fi with its unmatched atmosphere, as well as the design work of H. R. Giger, who created ghastly and eerie sets and an utterly terrifying design for the series’ villain – the reptilian Xenomorph.

Now, Andrew will don the Xenomorph suit, and use his talent for movement and body language to convey the maliciousness and unstoppable force of the iconic alien creature. A large part of the movie’s success hinges on the terror that the creature inspires in viewers.

After a series that has seen movies helmed by directors as acclaimed and diverse as James Cameron (The Terminator, Avatar), David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en), and Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amélie), original director Ridley Scott is taking the series back to its horror roots.

Alien: Covenant also features Guy Pearce, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Katherine Waterston, James Franco, and more in its all-star cast. This is one we can’t wait to see (and have nightmares about) when it hits Australian cinemas on May 18th.
